That's a first for this blog, but since I share with you everything I really like, I decided to post about one of my favourite recipes. Chicken Curry!
And since I'm not a cook but just a student, it has to be a quick and easy to make! :)
So here we gooo:
This is what you're gonna need (This is my own recipe, with the help of my boyfriend. We experimented so the ingredients were chosen mainly depending on our own taste, so you could change some of them and add your own favourites. What is more, the ingredients given are for a 2person meal.).
- 4 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 1 onion
- chicken filets (at least 2)
- Indian spicy curry sauce
- whipped cream
- Halloumi cheese
- olive oil
Cut the potatoes,carrots,chicken and Halloumi into small cubes.
First you cut the onion into small pieces and you fry it in hot oil in a pot.
Then you add the potatoes and fry them with the onion.
After that you add the carrots and let them fry all together.
Lastly you pour some water and let them boil.
While your veggies are boiling, you can fry your chicken into hot oil in a pan until it gets some colour on the sides.
When the chicken is ready you add it into the pot. You also add the Halloumi, which you have cut into cubes. Lastly you add one to two soup spoons of Indian spicy curry sauce and the whipped cream (how much depends on your taste). You add as much water you need as to cover the ingredients and let the boil in middle fire until the mixture becomes one. Add pepper and salt and stir your mixture often. When everything is mixed (needs about 20-30 minutes) your meal is ready.
And there you have it! Here's my chicken curry! It was really delicious! I combined it with warm bread but you can also eat it with rice. It was an amazing meal! The most exciting part was that the recipe was spontaneously created and was really fun to make!
